Kids Place was founded on the principle of providing a safe God-centered environment in which kids could learn and have fun. It is our prayer that the children will gain a deeper understanding of God's love for them and experience friendships that will last a lifetime.
Staff /Â Hours /Â Tuition
We are proud of our staff, who are all certified in CPR and first aid. The staff is also involved in continuing education both on-site and off-site throughout the year. Ongoing training keeps ideas fresh and the children safe, happy, and interested.
The ratio of staff to children is 1:10. The hours that Kids Place operates are 3pm to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The program is closed on holidays when school is not in session. Kids Place opens early for early dismissal days. Tuition per child is $80 per week, with a charge of $75 for the second and any additional child in a family. Part-time care is available on a limited basis, with care costing $18 per day. Part-time care must be pre-arranged and is not available as drop by care.
Programming
The days at Kids Place are full of activity. Each day at Kids Place begins with free time, in which the children may choose what they wish to participate in. Snacks, homework room, gym, outdoor playground, and a center-based room are the available choices. After 4:00 the children progress to an organized activity, which generally lasts 30 minutes. Organized activities vary and include Bible study, clubs, class time, and long-term projects. Electives are also available at the program and include piano lessons and tutoring.
